June 8 is World Oceans Day, established to reflect on the relationship between humankind and the sea, the benefits it bestows on us and, most importantly, the responsibility each of us has in preserving it. At Feel Blue, we have long worked to promote sustainable production methodologies that respect the environment and waters to deliver a livable planet to future generations.

This year we decided to support the project The Wave That Will Come, a show starring Sergio Múñiz, directed by Francesco Facciolli, written four hands by performer and director and produced by Vincenzo Fazio and Arturo Morano for Art Show. The show also received the support of UNESCO, which included it as part of the Decade of Marine Sciences for Sustainable Development, a global initiative promoted by all member states of the United Nations to involve the entire civil society in the search for solutions to protect the oceans and, in general, for a more sustainable future.

The Wave to Come stages the delicate relationship between Man and the Sea through the memories of the main character, Sergio, a surfer and fisherman, as he searches for the balance between these two souls of his. The sea is the constant throughout the play: welcoming and frightening, fascinating and terrible, infinite and inexorable like the experiences of life itself. Because, after all, we are all ocean.

The show will be staged right in our Marche region, during an Artistic Residency at the Politeama in Tolentino (MC) and will debut at the “Beniamino Gigli” Arena in Porto Recanati (MC) on June 27, on the occasion of the inauguration of the Sea Museum. We will also be present, together with the authorities of Porto Recanati, a representative of UNESCO and actor Sergio Múñiz to discuss together eco-sustainable practices and respect for the environment .
