Also this year Feel Blue renews close cooperation with Pitti Immagine With a dual partnership. For Pitti Uomo (Florence, Fortezza Da Basso, Jan. 7 -10) we designed and made “Pitti Flags”, 400 pure merino wool shawls that were given as Special Gifts to VIP guests.

From Jan. 22 to 24, however, we are again the creative partners of Pitti Filati 86, the world's most prestigious fair in the knitting yarn industry held, again in Florence's Fortezza Da Basso, under the direction of Angelo Figus and Nicola Miller. At Pitti Filati, a research laboratory and outstanding observatory of new trends in the lifestyle Global, we are present with our brand KWA - Knit With Attitude proposing creative concepts inspired by the central theme of Pitti Filati 86: flags.

What is a flag but a rectangle of cloth with an idea to wave proudly? What do we do but turn a weave of threads into an idea to wear proudly?

So we took up the invitation of Pitti Filati 86, Show Your Flag, producing four creative concepts inspired by the central theme of this edition and its different declinations, which harmoniously match our vision of business: well-being of people, respect for the environment, sustainability of territories, global spirit. The SLOGAN concept celebrates themes of social justice and youth rebellion through clear musical references to the worlds of grunge, punk and woke that take shape on colorful sheets of cotton, viscose and technical yarns.

Ecology, the organic world, the circular economy and respect for the environment, on the other hand, are the focus of the second concept: RESPECT, with cloths made of natural or recycled yarns, colored in muted hues that evoke suggestions of nature. From this, we move on to the city with SPORT & STREET, a tribute to the world of sports and urban style: a concept dominated by technical yarns and a strong presence of denim that is particularly refined in quality and workmanship. Finally, LUX&LIGHT, a sophisticated theme in both materials and style: fluid, shiny, precious drapes that play with lightness and light to create extraordinary effects of transparency and iridescence.

Four concepts to tell global trends with flags: talking fabrics, always on the move, moving symbols, proud witnesses to the identity of their bearers. Four inspirations to shape our flag in different ways: Loving Fashion. Caring World.
