Digital prototyping: efficiency and sustainability

The use of advanced digital prototyping allowed us to Improve the efficiency of the production process, especially in the first phase of conceptualization, sampling and design approval and, at the same time, of further reduce environmental impact of our production.

First we create the vector design of the model, then we digitally scannerize both the yarn and the color chart and create a two-dimensional canvas totally reliable.

From the canvas we develop all variants of color and knit stitch. This process allows us to achieve a digital and three-dimensional prototype in ultra-high definition which perfectly replaces the physical prototype. In this way we are able to reduce time and costs both in terms of sample making and shipping.

In addition, we avoid consuming raw material, electricity and water and we are able to contain pollution related to the transport of physical samples.
