Certifications, protocols and agreements that prove our commitment to environmental and social sustainability.
Integrated management system
We have adopted a single procedural system to meet international requirements on quality management (ISO 9001:2015), environmental management (ISO 14001:2015) and health and safety management (ISO 45001:2018).
Customs authorization
Starting from 4 September 2024, Feel Blue has obtained the AEOF authorization acquiring the status of Authorized Economic Operator issued by the Italian Customs Directorate following the judgment expressed by the Civitanova Marche Customs Office. This status certifies the specific reliability situation of this company towards the customs authorities, allowing us privileges in security checks and the simplification of customs procedures, with the aim of protecting the international supply chain.
Supply chain certifications
Nativa™: quality, sustainability and traceability of wool
The NATIVA™ label guarantees that: - the wool fibers we use meet high quality requirements and come from farms that work with respect for animal welfare and eco-sustainability; - our production processes comply with the ethical, environmental and social criteria of the NATIVA protocol. The supply chain tracking system is controlled through Blockchain technology: each of our accessories is equipped with a QR code that allows you to view the NATIVA™ Blockchain website and learn about the entire product life cycle.
RWS: from animal welfare to sustainable production
RWS, Responsible Wool Standard, is promoted by Textile Exchange, one of the leading international non-profit organizations for responsible and sustainable development in the textile industry. RWS is also based on the concept of a controlled value chain; in fact, every company in the supply chain must comply with the environmental and social requirements imposed by the standard. In particular, RWS: - certifies that the farms from which the wool we use comes are responsibly managed in accordance with stringent animal welfare and land management criteria; - guarantees the traceability of the entire supply chain, preserving the recognizability of materials at every stage of production.
GOTS: natural fibers from organic farming
Finally, we have obtained GOTS certification, Global Organic Textile Standard, promoted by leading international organizations in organic farming. This standard, too, defines specific environmental and social criteria that must be met at every stage of the production chain: from cultivation from the raw material, to the production and processing of textile fibers, to the marketing of finished products. In the case of Feel Blue, GOTS: - guarantees that the accessories we produce under the GOTS label contain natural fibers from organic farming; - certifies that our processes, particularly weaving, washing, ironing, labeling, and packaging, follow management patterns and procedures that comply with the requirements of the Standard; - ensures that the chemicals we use in processing have toxicological and ecotoxicological characteristics that comply with the requirements of the Standard.
GRS Global Recycled Standard
As of 2021, we have obtained Global Recycled Standard certification from Textile Exchange, one of the leading international non-profit organizations for responsible and sustainable development in the textile industry. This certification guarantees that our products contain at least 20 percent pre-consumer and post-consumer recycled material and that our manufacturing operations and processes use management models and procedures that comply with GRS environmental and social requirements.
Higg FEM for environmental compliance
Since 2022, we have been using the Higg Facility Environmental Module to evaluate, measure and quantify the environmental impact of the manufacturing of products in our facilities (from water usage to waste management to the use of chemical and energy products) in order to identify our strengths and detect areas for improvement.
Higg FSLM for social compliance
Since 2022, we have also been using the Higg Facility Social & Labor Module to evaluate, measure and quantify the social impact of our production and improve social and labor conditions for the people who work at our company.
SFA Sustainable Fibre Alliance
In 2024, we have obtained the Sustainable Fibre Alliance (SFA) certification for the cashmere we use in our productions. This internationally recognized standard ensures that the cashmere we source is produced with sustainable practices, minimizing environmental impact while guaranteeing fair economic returns across the supply chain, from herders to retailers. SFA-certified products must contain at least 5% certified cashmere, and for items made entirely of cashmere, at least 33% of the material must meet certification standards. This certification represents our commitment to ensuring transparency and responsibility in the materials we choose.
