Shield
Shield is the theme chosen by Angelo Figus, Nicola Miller, and Carrie Hollands for the new Research Space at Pitti Filati 95. A theme born from the uncertainty of global political, climatic, economic, and cultural scenarios, reflecting on the instinctive gesture of "shielding oneself." Just like in winter when we wear warm knitwear to protect ourselves from the cold. Once again, nature is the main source of inspiration, and from nature emerged the four variations of this theme.
This is the way we interpreted it through the our creations we exhibited in the Research Space of Pitti Filati 95.

Milestone
Once again, we exhibited our creations at the Spazio Ricerca at the biggest trade fair in the yarn sector. This year, within the theme of TIME, we celebrated MILESTONE – a tribute to iconic fashion that transcends fleeting trends. A journey around the world with tactile splendor and charming color combinations.

Domino
From June 28 to 30, 2023, we attended “Pitti Games”, the new edition of Pitti Filati held at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence, once again partnering with the Spazio Ricerca. With the theme “Domino”, creative directors Angelo Figus and Nicola Miller asked us to get involved and we did not hold back: we created designs inspired by chess, cards, backgammon, billiards and playgrounds viewed from above with their shapes and colors. Every piece of fabric was designed by our creative team and produced by a spinning mill that collaborates with our company: a great team for a great game.

Calligraphy
From January 25-27, 2023, we again contributed to the Spazio Ricerca at Pitti Filati 2023, in the Central Pavilion of the wonderful Fortezza da Basso in Florence where we exhibited our creations inspired by the Alphabet theme. In particular, we dealt with the Calligraphy theme, inspired by the Arabic alphabet: its lines and graphic signs guided us toward our reinterpretation of the theme, elaborating on the Arabic tradition, art and culture with a new perspective, which projects us into the future.

Into the Wild
We live in wild times, full of comfort, yes, but difficult to manage: everything is both opportunity and calamity. "Into the wild" is the main theme of Pitti Filati 91 dedicated to Fall/Winter 23-24 trends. We are proud to be once again in the Spazio Ricerca in the wonderful Fortezza da Basso in Florence where we exhibit our creations inspired by the three themes proposed by creative director Angelo Figus and knitwear expert Nicola Miller.

Dual
Once again this year we are present in the Spazio Ricerca of Pitti Filati 90 at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence, with a series of knitted cloths expressing our interpretation of the themes proposed by Angelo Figus, creative director of the fair, and Nicola Miller, knitting expert. The title-theme of the new Research Space is DUAL, a hymn to splitting, to the duality present in every idea, from a material, chromatic and conceptual point of view. A macro theme, which is divided into three concepts, expressed by three wonderful words: freedom [TANDEM], quality [KARAT], necessity [NECESSIVE].
