Our Vision for the Pitti Filati Research Space

In 2025, from January 28 to 30, we’ll once again join forces with the Pitti Filati Research Space in Florence, the most prestigious international knitwear fair. This edition’s theme, Body of Light (choose by the curators Angelo Figus, Carrie Hollands and Manuela Sandroni), invites us to rethink how we perceive reality—moving beyond what’s immediately visible to embrace a broader understanding of the world.

At Feel Blue, we interpret this concept as a call to expand our perspective. Logic and science alone may not always be enough to explain what we see, feel, and experience. To truly understand and innovate, we must combine these with alternative forms of knowledge—empathy, intuition, and creativity.

Our products are more than material goods—they are vessels of meaning, shaped by collective vision and purpose. For us, interpreting Body of Light means to celebrate the pursuit of clarity, depth, and interconnectedness as we explore new ways of seeing and creating.

Our Pitti Stand will be on FIRE

If the Research Space is all about light, the central theme of Pitti’s main halls is FIRE. And of course, we will be there too with our brand KWA.

For us, fire is a metaphor for transformation. Fire is a force that unites and divides, comforts and challenges, creates and destroys. Fire is both ancient and modern, a symbol of warmth, energy, and reinvention. At Feel Blue, we see fire as a catalyst for inspiration—a way to ignite new ideas while leaving behind the old. Fashion, much like fire, has the power to illuminate, provoke, and forge new paths.

This year, our Pitti stand will channel the energy of fire into bold, creative designs that spark curiosity, desire, and conversation.
