Adding all-round value to the region
Our 3,500-m2 headquarters is located in inland Le Marche at the foot of the Sibillini Mountains, or Blue Mountains, in line with our name Feel Blue. We are away from the large industrial centres, in a place that is defined as on the periphery.
Not in the sense of on the outskirts of the city. The area is on the manufacturing periphery: few companies, little work and few services, which leads to depopulation in the long term. In addition to that, there was a devastating earthquake here in 2016, which caused an alarming number of entire families to leave. We decided to establish our headquarters here not only to create employment but also to prove that working here is possible and desirable. We hope that others follow our example. However, we know that is not enough. That’s why we are committed to supporting local social, sporting and cultural initiatives.
We have been the official sponsor of the kids’ sports organised by the S.S. Vigor Tre Torri di Sarnano club.
We have supported the programme of events alongside the Macerata Opera Festival, bringing cultural events to children in the small towns in inland Le Marche.
We were the sole sponsor of the Stabat Mater concert on 18 August 2019 at Parco St. Nikolaj in Loro Piceno. In a picturesque location at the foot of the castle, the Chamber Orchestra, Soprano Alessia Cingolani and Contralto Edy Bigotto, directed by Licio Cernetti, performed the Concerto for Strings in A Major by Antonio Vivaldi and the Stabat Mater by Giovan Battista Pergolesi.
We have supported the Feel Blue Tailoring project, created in conjunction with the Please Sound Onlus to assist with the social and professional emancipation of women living in the villages of the Tamil Nadu region in the south of India. With our support, Please Sound has established a needlework workshop with 16 machines and enabled many women to stop the gruelling work in the fields and take up a more dignified and profitable job.
We supported in an important artistic project: “Terzo Tempo” (Aftermatch), a short film by director Stefano Monti produced by the Marche-based company YUK! film with the support of Marche Film Commission – Marche Cultura Foundation. It is a story inspired by a fact that really happened in the Municipality of Sarnano, near our headquarters, in 1944: a story that, starting from a particular episode, touches universal chords, enhancing the territory and its experience. Also in 2021 we supported L’Onda che Verrà (The coming way), a show with Sergio Múñiz, directed by Francesco Facciolli, co-written by interpreter and director and produced by Vincenzo Fazio and Arturo Morano for Art Show. The show also received the support of UNESCO which included it as part of the UN Ocean Science for Sustainable Development, a global initiative promoted by all the member States of the United Nations to involve the entire civil society in developing solutions for the protection of the oceans and, in general, for a more sustainable future.
We supported FuoriMano, a cultural festival and a literary prize organized in Sarnano by the APS Circolo di Piazza Alta from 23 to 30 July 2022. The theme they propose is particularly close to our heart: the suburbs, understood not only as a geographical dimension, but above all existential. Around this topic, the organizers propose appointments with writers, filmmakers, artists, musicians and have launched a literary competition from which an anthology of short stories was born in which our contribution is also included, a reflection on what it means to do business “out of the way”. Also in 2022, we also gave our support to Ginesio Fest, Festival of the Art of the Actor, organized in the small town of San Ginesio, where our headquarters are also located. The Ginesio Fest is a highly prestigious initiative dedicated to theater in all its forms. We have chosen to contribute to one of the creative workshops for the little ones: “Naughty Hats”, a manual workshop of creative decoration of hats created with recycled material. Of course, we provided the hats.
